The Windermere High School football team lost against Dr. Phillips High School 58-35 during a home, district, game Thursday, Friday Sept. 14.
Dr. Phillips scored early, managing to score two touchdowns prior to the end of the first quarter. The Wolverines offense posed a strong front during the second quarter and reached out the opposing end zone twice. However, it wasn’t enough to keep the Panthers at bay as they remained in the lead through the entirety of the game.
Windermere now has a 3-1 overall season record while Dr. Phillips owns a 2-2 record.
