Free car seat check to take place in Ocoee

The Florida Department of Transportation, Florida's Turnpike Enterprise, the Florida Highway Patrol and Safe Kids Orange County will host a free car seat safety check at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 21.

In honor of Child Passenger Safety Week, the Florida Department of Transportation, Florida's Turnpike Enterprise, the Florida Highway Patrol and Safe Kids Orange County will host a free car seat safety check event from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Sept. 21.

Orange County Sheriff's Office child passenger safety technicians will conduct the safety check to ensure that your child is riding safely, and correctly, in their car seat.

The event will take place at the Florida's Turnpike Turkey Lake Service Plaza in Ocoee.
