The West Orange High School football team was blown out by Jones High School with a score of 44-14 during a home, non-district, game Friday, Sept. 22.
The Tigers took the lead early in the game, scoring three touchdowns during the first quarter of the game for a 21-0 score. West Orange struggled to stop Jones to reach their respective end zone throughout the game, which resulted in a wider lead for the Tigers toward the end of the game.
However, the Warriors got two touchdowns in during the second half of the game for the final score of 44-14.
West Orange will next travel to Ocoee at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, to battle for the shield.
