PHOTOS: West Orange claims “The Shield” once more, defeats Ocoee 26-14

The West Orange High School football team won the Battle for the Shield against Ocoee High School for the fourth consecutive year with a final score of 26-14 Friday, Sept. 29.

With this win, the Warriors claimed their first district win of the season and brought their overall record to a 2-4.

West Orange had the lead through the first half of the game but Ocoee came from behind during the third quarter to take a brief lead prior to the start of the fourth quarter. West Orange took advantage of the 12 last minutes of the game to take the win.
