Eight Waves is inviting locals to attend a morning filled with fashion, flair and fun with its Glam & Giving fashion show brunch.

Attendees will enjoy brunch provided by Market to Table while watching community leaders strut the runway wearing pieces from local boutiques.

In addition, bubbly sips will be available at the mimosa bar and participants will experience a unique opportunity to network.

The event will benefit Eight Waves, a nonprofit organization located in Winter Garden that invests in the lives of children, youth and families who live in under-resourced communities.

The show will be led by master of ceremony Ashleigh Ann Wood, a Canadian/American actor, writer, speaker, singer, acting coach and philanthropist, known for her roles in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "CSI: Miami" and more.

Iliana Ramos Jones for Winter Garden Commissioner District 2 is the title sponsor for the event.

The show will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at Pilars Martini & Loft, 146 W. Plant St., Suite 120, Winter Garden.
