After a 13-3 win over Timber Creek High on Friday, April 19, the Windermere High baseball team has taken home the Metro Conference championship trophy for the third consecutive season.

Not only has Windermere won the Metro Conference title, but it is also currently on a 12-game winning streak; having not lost a game for more than a month, losing to Winter Springs High on March 19, 2-1.

Overall this regular season, Windermere has been phenomenal on the diamond; currently holding a 20-3 record. Of those three losses, two of them came by only two combined runs — the one-run loss to Winter Springs and an extra innings one-run loss to Lake Minneola.

Windermere has two more games in the regular season — both against Hagerty High, home Wednesday, April 24, and on the road Thursday, April 25— before the district playoffs start state-wide on April 29.
