For a little retail therapy, look no further than downtown Winter Garden’s Shop, Dine & Stroll event, set for Saturday, May 4, downtown.

This event will give attendees a chance to browse local shops and enjoy food from downtown Winter Garden’s many eateries.

In addition, the event will feature live music from Hanger 61 (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and Mud Rooster (4 to 8 p.m.) at Centennial Plaza. Hanger 61 will perform popular rock songs, while Mud Rooster will bring its unique blend of blues, rock ability and classic rock to the stage.

Shoppers also will have the opportunity to participate in Raffle “May”nia, with chances to win prizes at shops and restaurants in addition to a grand prize of cash gift cards. For every $25 spent at a participating store or restaurant, a shopper earns one entry into that establishment’s raffle (maximum 10 tickets per customer, per store). Each participating business will conduct a raffle drawing for in-store gift cards or merchandise, and then all downtown entries (including the winners’ tickets) will be combined and entered in a grand prize drawing to win $500, $250, and $100 Visa gift cards.
