Cub Scout Pack 5 hosting Bicycle Rodeo in Horizon West

Children are encouraged bring their helmet and bike to engage in a morning of educational fun.

Cub Scout Pack 5 is hosting a Bicycle Rodeo in Horizon West this weekend.

Children are encouraged bring their helmet and bike to engage in a morning of educational fun, which will include a helmet safety check, a bike mechanics check, bike rules of the road training, bike decorating and a Cub Scout ride to put the new skills learned into practice.

The Horizon West American Legion Post 419 and the Orange County Sheriff's Office will both also be in attendance.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at 14111 Shoreside Way, in front of the Hamlin Cinepolis.
