The Winter Garden Heritage Foundation will celebrate the long history of the Lions Club with its One Last Roar Reception.

The reception will celebrate the Winter Garden Heritage Museum’s current exhibition, which features the stories and memorabilia from local Lions organizations. It takes place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, at the museum, 1 N. Main St., Winter Garden.

The reception is open to anyone, and foundation officials especially encourage individuals with stories, interest or experience with the Lions to share — or perhaps talk about reviving the Winter Garden Lions Club.
