Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is hosting a pop-up bridal showcase in Winter Garden this weekend.

The event aims to help local brides-to-be find the perfect wedding dress and create special “Cinderella” moments.

With the average cost of a wedding jumping to $34,000, up 14% from a year ago, engaged couples may be looking for opportunities to save money or spend smarter.

Goodwill's two-day “Something Blue” pop-up bridal showcase will give brides the opportunity to find a dress for as low as $50, which is significantly less than the average $2,000 bridal gown price tag.

The discounted wedding gowns are made possible through generous donations from the community.

The bridal showcase will take place from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, at the Winter Garden Goodwill location, 14190 W. Colonial Drive.
