Students were treated to a final summer fling before heading back to class when the town of Windermere hosted a Kids Back-to-School Celebration Saturday, Aug. 10, at Town Square Park. Dozens of families joined in the event, dining and snacking on meals and treats from multiple food trucks in attendance. Music by DJ Greg and his DJ Racecar kept the crowd moving, and families enjoyed playing games and hanging out together as they said goodbye to the summer break. The Windermere Branch Library was an event sponsor.
