Windermere girls, Horizon boys cross country teams win Ocoee Invitationals

Olympia High's Emily Knopfle finished first in the individual girls race, Horizon duo placed second.

The Windermere girls and Horizon High boys cross country teams won the 2024 Ocoee XC Invitational Saturday, Aug. 24 — with the Wolverines’ boys team and Horizon girls finishing second, while Olympia High's girls and boys teams finished third.

Horizon’s Jacob Finch finished second, best among the area’s boys runners, as did fellow Hawk Abigayle White. Only Olympia High’s Emily Knopfle finished ahead of White, winning the individual title at the event, while teammate Aubrey Frost finished third.
