Lift Disability Network, a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring individuals and families living with disabilities to discover a new vision for their future, is holding a 25th anniversary celebration on Giving Tuesday, Dec 3. As part of this milestone celebration, Lift is calling on supporters to make a difference by donating to its mission on this Global Day of Giving.

Since its founding in 1999, Lift has been committed to providing community events and family services that elevate life for families and individuals impacted by disability. Over the past 25 years, the organization has helped hundreds of individuals, and their families, come together to discover opportunity, faith, fun and a real sense of community for the entire family unit.

"This anniversary marks an incredible milestone for our organization and the people we serve," said Jim Hukill, executive director of Lift Disability Network. "Our mission is rooted in creating a world where individuals with disabilities and their families are supported, empowered, valued and included. Giving Tuesday is the perfect opportunity to celebrate our progress and continue our work towards breaking down barriers, fostering a sense of belonging, and creating opportunities of inspiration and growth."

This Giving Tuesday, Lift is seeking donations to fund key programs that provide life-changing services such as camps, day programming, faith education and family support. Donations will directly impact the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families, offering them greater opportunities for independence and inclusion in all aspects of society.

"We rely on the generosity of donors to make our programs possible," Hukill said. "Every gift, no matter the size, helps us create a lasting impact and provides individuals with disabilities and their families the tools they need to thrive. We invite the community to join us in this important work on Giving Tuesday."

Lift Disability Network will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a special event at the Winter Garden offices — 611 Business Park Blvd., Suite 105 — Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

"We warmly invite the community to join us for this milestone celebration; everyone is welcome to attend," Hukill said.
