City kicks off holiday festivities with Light Up Winter Garden

The annual event takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, on West Plant Street, Historic Downtown.

Join the city of Winter Garden to welcome the holiday season at the 2024 Light Up Winter Garden. 

The annual event takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, on West Plant Street, in Historic Downtown.

At 6:15 p.m., be at City Hall for the momentous flipping of the switch to turn on the holiday lights and watch downtown glow. Holiday activities and entertainment for all to enjoy will continue through 9 p.m. 

In addition, Winter Garden’s First Baptist Church will present its annual Christmas in the Garden big band extravaganza. Beginning at 6:30 p.m. the church’s Dove Award-winning worship pastor, Clay Crosse, and an all-star team of musicians will perform on the front steps of the church, 125 E. Plant St., Winter Garden. This event promises to be a fun celebration with surprise special guests, including the Foundation Academy Steel Drum Band.
