Horizon West residents have a new Christmas event to enjoy this holiday season.

Christmas at Hamlin: A Festival of Holiday Traditions, will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, in the Hamlin Green Space, 14111 Shoreside Way, Winter Garden.

This new event promises to be a magical evening filled with holiday cheer presented by Hamlin and Horizon West Happenings. Events include a tree-lighting ceremony at 6 p.m., live entertainment by various school music groups, the Horizon West Theater Company, the Orlando Dance Conservatory and more. Attendees will be able to make ornaments, decorate cookies, write letters to Santa, play festive games, and enjoy holiday food and drinks.
