The Horizon High School Student Government Association is doing its part to ensure local children learn to love reading.

As part of the Observer Media Group’s Reading Reindeer book drive, the SGA spearheaded a campus campaign that raised more than 500 books — all to be delivered to various non-profit organizations and other entities within West Orange and Southwest Orange.

English 1 teacher Jennifer Sandman challenged her students to donate, which contributed greatly to the Hawks’ success.
