Oakland’s Santa’s Lane, Golf Cart Parade set for Saturday

Oakland will welcome the Christmas season with two events this weekend.

The annual Santa’s Lane event takes place from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at Oakland Town Center, 230 N. Tubb St., Oakland. Guests will have the opportunity to sit with Santa for a free photo, and kids will leave with a special treat. The event also will feature an inflatable alpine snow slide, a Christmas Shopping Village and more.

Following the conclusion of Santa’s Lane, the town’s first Golf Cart Parade will begin at 6 p.m. at Oakland Town Center. Enjoy the town of Oakland’s first golf cart parade, which will wind through the roads of historic Oakland.
