The Winter Garden Police Department announced officers of the South Bend, Indiana Police Department safely and successfully recovered 10-year-old Alivia Munro and 5-year-old Ashton Munro at 3:55 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13.

Jonathan Woodcox, the WGPD detective assigned to the case, was able to learn the girls' mother, Nikel Bradshaw, was last seen in the area of Michigan Street in Orlando on Monday, Dec. 9, but was no longer in the Central Florida area, according to a news release from the WGPD.

Working with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Orange County Sheriff's Office, the investigation revealed Bradshaw fled the state. She was staying with family in Indiana, where she was apprehended and arrested, according to the release.

Alivia and Ashton Munro were medically checked as a precaution and placed in temporary custody of the Indiana Department of Child Services until their father can take them home.

The Winter Garden Police Department is looking for two children after officers responded to a call for service.

According to police reports, the father, who is the primary custodian of the children, said the mother failed to return the children.

According to reports, the mother, Tierra Nikel Bradshaw, was supposed to return the children, 10-year-old Alivia Munro and 5-year-old Ashton Munro, to the father the night of Sunday, Dec. 8.

Alivia Munro has not been in school the past three days. Ashton Munro has cerebral palsy. Attempts to locate Bradshaw and the two children have been unsuccessful.

According to the report, the father and law enforcement are concerned for the children's safety.

The address Bradshaw provided to the court for the parenting plan is not her address, and Bradshaw has not returned phone calls to law enforcement letting officers know the children are safe.

Bradshaw has a 2016 brown Mazda 6 four-door sedan registered to her with a tag number of 39DBIK. It was last identified in the area of Michigan Street in Orlando.

Anyone with information should contact Detective Jonathan Woodcox at (407) 656-3636, Ext. 4451, or CRIMELINE at 800-423-TIPS.
