Special Heart Farm kicks off seventh annual fundraiser

Special Hearts Farm is holding its seventh annual Boots, Wine & Dine Under the Virtual Stars fundraiser Friday through Sunday, Dec. 13 through 15.

There are opportunities to sponsor animals, bid on exclusive auction items and participate in the fine-dining raffle.

This year offers a unique opportunity to help fund the “forever fence,” which will be the first structure completed at the nonprofit organization’s forever home site. Individuals contributing $200 or more toward the fence will receive a special invitation to join the organization for its 2025 groundbreaking ceremony to mark this important milestone.

The Special Hearts Farm “Special Animals for Special Hearts,” is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in Winter Garden that serves individuals with disabilities and unique abilities by providing adult day training, supported employment and possible entrepreneur business opportunities related to farming and gardening experiences. A collaboration between Orange County Public Schools and the Special Hearts Farm creates and features a “true transition opportunity” for students with disabilities to train and continue performing meaningful jobs once they age out of school.
