Dr. Phillips High football player Julien Michel announced on his X account that he will be de-committing from Alabama State University and his recruitment has re-opened.

The Panthers’ 6-foot-3 cornerback initially selected the Hornets in September, but after a stellar senior season — which saw Michel help lead Dr. Phillips to the state semifinals — he’s received more attention on the recruiting trail, recently picking up offers from FCS programs Morehouse and Bethune-Cookman.
