Polet Ohayon and Xiomara Sanches, the director of Rosen JCC's Early Childhood Learning Center, couldn't wait to greet community members and help them decorate cookies at Hanukkah Fest.

Gavi Berman, Olivia Berman and Rebecca Besen decorated their drip trays for their menorahs.
Lily Motola designed her drip tray to match her family's menorah. She wanted to use colors that were bright and would pop.
Mila Benzaquen, 6, showed off the dreidel she made out of a chocolate kiss, marshmallow and pretzel. It wasn't long after she finished making it that she decided to eat it.
Aaron Feld, 8, made silly putty, getting the ingredients crusted on his hands.

Lauren Mindell said the Israeli American Council Keshet - Winter Garden hosts several good activities for participants to help them be a part of the community.

The community came together for Rosen JCC's Hanukkah Fest.
Lily Motola decided to design her drip tray using blue, purple and pink.
She wanted the tray to match her menorah with bright colors that popped.
Motola said the dip tray will be useful when it comes to cleaning the melted wax from her family's menorah.
"I spent hours cleaning the mess from all the wax," Motola said of last year's Hannukah celebrations.
Decorating a menorah dip tray was one of various activities that brought the community together at Rosen JCC's Hanukkah Fest Sunday, Dec. 15.
Other activities included cookie decorating, making torches and creating dreidels out of marshmallows, chocolate kisses and pretzels.
