Get your child’s car seat checked

A free car seat safety check will take place from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2, at the Winter Garden branch of the Orange County Library, 805 E. Plant St.

Certified technicians from the Winter Garden Fire Rescue Department, Orange County Sheriff’s Office and Orlando Health will perform the safety checks on a first-come, first-served basis. Three out of four car seats are installed and used incorrectly, so parents and grandparents are urged to get theirs checked.
