The city of Ocoee, Orange Blossom Market Co. and Cluckerz Chicken hosted the first monthly community market Thursday, Feb. 1, at the Ocoee Lakeshore Center and on the lawn of Bill Breeze Park.
The free market showcased dozens of local vendors with handcrafted goods, unique products and artisan snacks, such as Sheri’s Sourdough n’ Such, Fruits of Your Labor LLC, Captain Crazy’s Nuts and Fine Snacks, Fake Bake by Carol, Atelie do Brigadeiro, Nita’s Pudding, and Soulshine in a Jar.
At the family-friendly event, attendees also enjoyed an array of food trucks offering tasty treats, including Cluckerz Chicken, Tagliolino Fresh Pasta, Twisted Plates, Hot Dog Therapy and GringaMex.
The event additionally featured live musical performances by local 15-year-old singer Francesca Tarantino, face painting, inflatable games, free batting cages and more.
The goal of the market is to encourage residents to shop and eat locally to support small businesses in their community.
