Obituary: Lynn "Red" Mack Folsom

Lynn “Red” Mack Folsom left us Friday, Jan. 26, 2024.

Lynn “Red” was a loving father to Cathy Errion, Peggy Folsom and John Folsom (Jill); loving grandfather to Johnny Folsom (Candice), Ryan Folsom (Katie), Justin Folsom, Dawn Folsom, David Feldman (Tracy) and Paul Feldman (Aricka); loving great-grandfather of 12.

His life’s work started out as a block mason into Home Building, Developer and Investor. As a Home Builder Contractor through Bel-Aire Homes, he built many homes and subdivisions through the Central Florida area, with much focus in the West Orange area. As a Developer, he built Windtree Condominiums, Windtree Professional Office Buildings, Wendy’s (now a Starbucks), and the first City of Ocoee Complex on Bluford.

Retiring at the age of 55, he started a woodworking business to sell on the road in craft shows throughout the states alongside his wife, Pauline R. Folsom, who passed away in 2020.

He enjoyed traveling, cruising and golfing (West Orange Country Club); was an Exalted Ruler and member of the Winter Garden Elks BPOE 2165; and enjoyed his Texas Hold’em poker games.
