Hamlin Ace Hardware to host grand opening this weekend

Event attendees will have the chance to win prizes, learn during vendor demonstrations, enjoy free food samples, listen to music and more.

The new Ace Hardware in Hamlin is hosting a grand opening event this weekend.

Residents can come out to the shop from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2, for a day filled with prizes, music, free food samples and live demonstrations.

The first 100 customers at the event will receive a free swag bag.

Attendees also will be able to enjoy a weekend-long sale running from Friday, March 1, through Sunday, March 3.

The new Ace Hardware, which we first told you about here, soft opened at the beginning of February.

Ace Hardware offers a variety of hardware, paints and home improvement products, as well as a multitude of services, including key cutting, propane refill and exchange, paint color matching, and screen repair.

The new location can be found at 5175 Hamlin Groves Trail, Winter Garden, located near Taco Bell, Chick-fil-A and AutoZone.

The new store is open from 7 a.m to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
