Bojangles is now open in Clermont.

The eatery opened its doors to hungry locals Wednesday, Dec. 27.

Bojangles, a fast food restaurant company specializing in Cajun-seasoned fried chicken and buttermilk biscuits, was first founded by Jack Fulk in 1977 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Since then, the company has expanded to feature more than 800 locations, the closest to Orlando previously being the Sanford store.

The new Clermont location can be found at 4721 Collina Terrace.

The menu includes items such as boneless chicken favorites, chicken sandwiches, biscuit meals, sides, sweets and sauces.
