Ocoee PD searching for information regarding Sawmill vehicle burglaries

The Ocoee Police Department, on Wednesday, Jan. 10, was made aware of several attempted vehicle burglaries in the Sawmill subdivision.

The Ocoee Police Department is searching for information regarding vehicle burglaries in the Sawmill subdivision. 

Officers, on Wednesday, Jan. 10, were made aware of several attempted vehicle burglaries in the subdivision.

"In the multiple videos seen via the Ring app, it appears three black males exited a White Range Rover and checked car door handles to see if they were unlocked," the department reported. "The driver of the Range Rover would follow along as the three males went down the street going house to house checking."

The Ocoee PD said currently only one case has been officially reported. 

Those who have been a victim of this crime should report the incident to the department by calling (407) 905-3160. Those who wish to remain anonymous can contact the Central Florida Crimeline at (800) 423-TIPS.

Officers are also asking community members who may have video, photos or any other potential evidence to contact the Ocoee PD.
