Winter Garden hosting Christmas in July toy drive

The city is asking the community to help lift the spirits of children at local hospitals by donating new, unwrapped toys, games or books.

The city of Winter Garden is hosting a Christmas in July toy drive.

The city is asking the community to help lift the spirits of children at local hospitals by donating new, unwrapped toys, games or books. 

The toy drive is in conjunction with the Florida Association of City Clerks.

The event runs through Wednesday, July 3. 

Those interested in making a donation can bring items to the bin located in the lobby of City Hall at 300 W. Plant St. between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The donations will benefit the Orlando Health Arnold Palmer for Children Hospital and the Nemours Children's Hospital.
