Winter Garden resident Juan Rodriguez recently was recognized for the success of his entrepreneur-led health and wellness business during Plexus Worldwide’s 2024 Velocity Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Plexus Worldwide is a leading health and wellness company featuring products that enable people to improve their lives and well-being. With hundreds of thousands of independent business owners worldwide, also known as brand ambassadors, Plexus is among the top 30 largest direct sales companies globally, according to Direct Selling News.

The annual global convention, which was held in June, is designed to inspire, educate and energize brand ambassadors through informative panels, workshops and presentations, as well as networking opportunities, social events, philanthropic initiatives and inspirational keynotes.

Rodriguez was among an elite group of people selected to share business strategies, product insights and personal experiences with thousands of independent business owners to help them effectively build their businesses and feel inspired to pursue their entrepreneurial goals.

During his presentation, he shared his story of how Plexus has provided him with a path to define his own own successful health and wellness business through hard work.

"Being on the stage, my only goal was to share my story," Rodriguez said. "I never imagined the impact I would have. Being part of the LGBTQ+ community and speaking about my husband during Pride Month was an honor, and I had so many people in tears and thanking me for being my most authentic self. I also got to share that, thanks to this company, I’ve been able to do more to help our family in Brazil, who sadly lost everything in massive floods earlier this year. "I am so thankful to everyone who has donated to the GoFundMe."

Those who are able to or wish to support Rodriguez's family can visit the GoFundMe page here.
