CFX road closures planned for S.R. 429, Stoneybrook West Parkway

The Central Florida Expressway Authority has announced planned road closures for the Stoneybrook West area during the week of July 7.

The contractor working on behalf of CFX will continue setting panels at the noise wall along the southbound Stoneybrook West Parkway, adjacent to the Stoneybrook West community.

During this time, Stoneybrook West Parkway and the Stoneybrook West community entrance and exit at Tenbury Wells Way will need to be closed during the overnight hours to unload and install the large wall panels.

Stoneybrook Parkway will be closed south of County Road 535. A simple detour will take traffic onto the southbound Stoneybrook West Parkway ramp to southbound State Road 429, then back onto Stoneybrook West Parkway south of the closure. This closure will take place from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Sunday, July 7, through Thursday, July 11, and into the morning of Friday, July 12.

In addition, the Stoneybrook West community Tenbury Wells Way entrance and exit are scheduled to be closed during the same times and dates.

CFX representative said these closures are likely to be put in place again at some point late next week. They also said the schedule is subject to change, but every effort will be made to maintain the schedule as planned.
