Does your child enjoy playing basketball? Registration runs July 15 through Aug. 15 for the fall season of youth basketball at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. The cost is $150 and includes a jersey and medal. The program runs from Monday, Sept. 2, through Friday, Oct. 25.

Basketball is open to boys and girls, and there will be co-ed teams for each age division from kindergarten to eighth grade. Practice begins the week of Sept. 2.

Each age group will have a specific night and will practice and play on that night, using the I-9 format. Practices will be 30 minutes starting at 6 p.m. followed by the game. According to the schedule, middle school division meets Mondays, kindergarten and first grade meets Tuesdays, second and third grade meets Thursdays, and fourth and fifth grade meets Fridays.

Returning players who don’t need a new jersey can use discount code UNIFORM to save $20.

Coaches are needed as well, and adults can sign up to coach their child’s team when registering their child. By using the code COACH, their child’s registration fee will be waived. A coaches meeting will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22.

For information and to register, visit st.lukes.org/sports/. The church is at 4851 S. Apopka-Vineland Road, Orlando.
