Missing 3-year-old found dead at Orlando resort

A toddler who went missing from an Orlando resort Thursday, July 18, has been found dead.

According to Orange County Sheriff's Office reports, Rakim Akbari's body was found in a body of water near the resort, in the 8800 block of Palm Village Circle near State Road 535 and World Center Drive.

The discovery was made hours after the Sheriff's Office asked the public for assistance in locating the child.

According to reports, Rakim Akbari walked away from the resort. Rakim, who also went by “Tuda,” had autism.
