Eggs Up Grill collecting back-to-school items

Eggs Up Grill in Winter Garden is celebrating the back-to-school season with a supply drive to be given to local students in need. The staff hopes to fill 100 backpacks. School items are being collected through Friday, Aug. 9, at the eatery, 13750 W. Colonial Drive, Winter Garden.

In lieu of school supplies, guests also can purchase a $5 ticket for a chance to win an Eggs Up Grill gift card. All money collected will be used to fill the backpacks, which were donated by Target.

Families in need are invited to pick up a backpack between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., or until all packs are gone.
