Westbound Plant Street to close in Winter Garden

Plant Street will be closed to westbound traffic from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, between Lakeview and Highland avenues.

The city of Winter Garden has announced that Plant Street will be closed to westbound traffic from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, between Lakeview and Highland avenues.

The closure is due to the removal of a tree between the Winter Garden Police Station and the Winter Garden Post Office.

City officials said the work and associated noise will not commence until 8:00 am., and the road will be barricaded with detour signs in place.

"We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation," city officials said in a post on their website.
