The City of Ocoee Human Relations Diversity Board is hosting “Inclusive Communication,” the second in a two-part speaker series. The two-hour presentation will be held at 6:15 p.m. Thursday, June 6, at City Hall, 1 N. Bluford Ave. The public is invited to attend the free event.
Guest speaker Kavita Sawh, with the UCF Ginsburg Center for Inclusion and Community Engagement, will discuss how effective communication is essential for fostering inclusivity in all types of environments, including both communities and workplaces. The goal of the training is to assist participants in effectively interacting with diverse groups and cultivating a culture of mutual respect and recognition for all individuals involved.
