PHOTOS: Winter Garden Little League champions honored at Squeeze game

In between the two games of its doubleheader on Saturday, June 8, the Winter Garden Squeeze welcomed onto the field members of the Winter Garden Little League — including the 8-9 year old Tournament of Champions winning team from Florida District 14, which covers West and Southwest Orange County.

An All-Star team comprised of the top 8- and 9-year-olds from the Winter Garden Little League teams, the group of youngsters went 5-0 in the tournament of champions held at the new Dr. Phillips Ballfield Complex and claimed the top prize in the Little League system for their age group.

During the Winter Garden Squeeze's Little League night, the little leaguers got to share the field with the Squeeze players during warmups, play catch and even share the third-base foul line with the team of college players during the playing of the US National Anthem.
