Sidewalk improvements coming to West Orange County

Four projects on Orange County's Public Works Departments' construction list are in District 1.

Sidewalk improvements are coming to the West Orange County area.

Four projects on Orange County's Public Works Departments' construction list are in District 1.

The projects include Summerlake Park Boulevard, from Seidel Road to Reams Road; Palm Parkway, from Daryl Carter Parkway to Central Florida Parkway; Masters Boulevard, from the clubhouse to Pine Valley Drive; and South John Young Parkway, from Taft-Vineland Road to the existing south of State Road 528.

"Many roadway projects like these stem directly from your feedback, and we already have additional projects in the queue!" District 1 Commissioner Nicole Wilson said in a post on social media. "West Orange County has been in dire need of improved pedestrian safety and connectivity for decades. These projects are a big part of that equation."
