Windermere High students win big at film festival

Twenty four film students represented the school at the 2024 Enzian Reel Short Teen Film Festival.

Windermere High School students are celebrating big wins following the 2024 Enzian Reel Short Teen Film Festival.

Twenty four film students represented the school at the festival, which was held Feb. 24 at the Enzian Theater in Maitland. 

Jaylee Graham won for best animation, and Chris Mendoza won the audience choice award and best edit for the comedy category.

The Wolverines also dominated in the official nominee selection with 20 WHS films being chosen. 

Filmmakers had the opportunity to walk the red carpet and watch their movies debut on the big screen.
