Four West, Southwest Orange soccer players selected to All-Star games

Four of top players from the area's best teams represented West, Southwest Orange County in the FACA All-Star games

Four West Orange and Southwest Orange County senior soccer players represented the area in the 2024 Florida Athletic Coaches Association All-Star Games. 

On the boys side, three area players were included on the East team. 

From the Class 7A state runner-ups, West Orange defender Jacob Bignon and midfielder Finlay Prain were included on the 20-player roster. 

From the 7A, Region 2 champions Windermere High, winger Jose Moyetones was the other area representative in the FACA All-Star games. 

For the girls, the lone representative from the area was midfielder and defender Aida Bell from the Class 5A, Region 2 champions Horizon High. 

Bell, a Centre College signee, led the Hawks in total goal contributions with 17 combined goals and assists.
