Windermere High boys volleyball player Hayden Spears has officially signed his National Letter of Intent to continue his playing career at Ohio State.

The 6-foot-7 middle blocker has been extremely efficient for the Wolverines (5-3) this season; recording 86 kills in just 24 sets, with 15 total blocks and eight aces. Spears has also had a lot of success in the club volleyball scene as well, being named to the AVCA All-American watch list and has been selected three times to participate in USA volleyball's national team development program.

Spears and Windermere still have a slew of games left over the next month and a half before the playoffs, including matchups against three West Orange and Southwest Orange County. Windermere will travel to Olympia High (1-2) on April 9, host Lake Buena Vista High (6-6) on April 16 and travel to Horizon High (7-2) on April 18.
