Three protesters on Saturday, May 11, blocked Interstate 4 near Disney for about 11 minutes before Florida Highway Patrol troopers responded and dismantled the disruption.

The protesters — identified as Isabella Giannosa, 26, of Oviedo; Jenni Nguyen, 24, of Winter Garden; and My Truong, 24, of Oviedo — were arrested and transported to the Orange County jail. All face misdemeanors charges of refusing to obey a police officer.

The protesters appear to be connect with the group Central Florida Queers for Palestine.

That group, via social media, claimed Orange County “is withholding bail, physically intimidating our community members and lying about their [sic] booking procedure.”

On Sunday, May 12, the group posted the three arrested had been released on $1,000 bond each. The depositer is listed as Tamara Yousef, of Dr. Phillips. The defendants are scheduled to appear in court at 1 p.m. June 25.

"Our people are free," the post read. "Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, called, and uplifted our comrades. Grateful for our gay militant hamasholes."
