Innovation Montessori High School celebrated its seniors Wednesday, May 22, in a graduation ceremony full of pomp and circumstance at the Ocoee Lakeshore Center. Donning their silver caps and gowns, the Class of 2024 graduates entered the hall full of excitement and anticipation, as it was their moment to shine after completing their secondary education.
Co-valedictorian Shalom Barnes welcomed graduates and guests to the graduation ceremony. Those in attendance also heard from Heather Clay, executive director; Stacey Williams, board of directors president; senior adviser Alison Franks; and student speakers Rafael Barragan-Cisneros Jr., Ra Gonzalez, Yeisha Rodriguez Aponte and co-valedictorian Brighten Young. Cole NeSmith gave the commencement address, and Principal Jared Stewart presented the diplomas to the graduates.
