The Orange County Parks & Recreation Department is hosting a Fun Day & Movie at the Trail in Winter Garden this weekend.

West Orange County residents are invited to the West Orange Trail - Chapin Station for the free night of family fun.

Locals can bike, ride their skateboards, rollerblade, run or even walk the trail during the day, as well as enjoy yard games, food trucks and music. Then, attendees can settle in for an animated movie starting at 6:15 p.m., shortly after dark. Residents can bring their own lawn chairs and snacks or purchase small bites from local food trucks.

The movie being shown is Disney's "Wish," which follows the story of Young Asha, who makes a wish so powerful that it's answered by a cosmic force — a little ball of boundless energy called Star. With Star's help, Asha must save her kingdom from King Magnifico and prove that when the will of one courageous human connects with the magic of the stars, wondrous things can happen.

The movie is rated PG and runs about one-and-one-half hours.

No alcohol is allowed in the park, and no pets are allowed in the viewing area.

The event will run from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at 501 W. Crown Point Cross Road, Winter Garden.
