French Family Foundation to hit pavement for 5K Fun Run

The Winter Garden-based French Family Foundation is hosting its second 5K and Fun Run Saturday, Nov. 16.

The community is invited to register for the event, which takes place at Home State Brewing, 16016 New Independence Parkway, Winter Garden, starting at 8 a.m.

Register at FFF5kfunrun.com. The nonprofit was founded to help support local families with loved ones who have disabilities.

Aside from earning her journalism degree from the University of Georgia, she hasn’t strayed too far from her hometown and her three-mile bubble.
