The Winter Garden Heritage Foundation is presenting a history of the Miss Florida Citrus Pageant, “When Tiaras Ruled,” Friday, Nov. 15, at Heller Hall, 21 E. Plant St. The program begins at 6:30 p.m.

Brenda Eubanks Burnette, the executive director of the Florida Citrus Hall of Fame, will give a presentation on the history of the organization’s Miss Florida Citrus and Citrus Queen honorees. The year 2003 signified the end of an era as the last Miss Florida Citrus was crowned.

The community is invited to take a nostalgic walk down memory lane with the WGHF. This project is funded in part by Orange County Government through the Arts & Cultural Affairs Program and United Arts Central Florida.
