Foundation Academy Athletics celebrates historic National Signing Day

With its first-ever softball signee and biggest class of baseball players heading to college for the sport, Foundation Academy saw nine total athletes sign to play at the next level.

On National Signing Day, Foundation Academy celebrated a historic class of nine senior athletes committing their academic and athletic futures to their respective colleges, including its first-ever Division I softball player and the biggest class of future college baseball players, seeing six total baseball players sign.

Here's the list of all nine players who signed
  • Avery Bangsund, West Virginia Wesleyan University women's soccer
  • Barak Boston, Army baseball
  • Evan Brothers, Mission University baseball
  • Rylee Gibson, The Citadel baseball
  • Riley Michels, Rhodes College men's basketball
  • Braden Minnetto, Carson-Newman University baseball
  • Lizzie Ozim, Belmont University softball
  • Justin Salvati, Coker University baseball
  • Mike Surane, Coker University baseball
