Lake Whitney Elementary School hosts Pastries with Parents event

Lake Whitney Elementary School hosted the 2024 Pastries with Parents event Nov. 7 and 8 in the school's cafeteria.

The school's dolphin mascot made an appearance at the event.

The annual event invites parents to eat breakfast with their children before the start of the school day.

Parent-Teacher Organization members helped to pass out an assortment of pastries and fruit to hungry families who were surprised with a visit from the school's dolphin mascot during their breakfast.

Parent volunteers helped to hand out an assortment of pastries and fruit to attendees.
