AT&T Fiber now is available to more than 28,000 residences in Orlando, Apopka, Windermere and Kissimmee.

The newly launched network will give customers access to internet speeds up to 5 gigs.

“This expansion of fiber connectivity in the Orlando area is another meaningful step toward closing the digital divide and making the benefits of high-speed internet accessible to more families across Florida,” AT&T Gulf States President Joe York said. “We know that reliable, fast connectivity opens doors to education, health care and economic opportunity, and AT&T is committed to bringing this essential resource to more communities across the state. By investing in Florida’s future, we’re not only delivering the speed and reliability people need today, but we’re also helping to build a stronger, more connected tomorrow.”

It was not immediately clear what Windermere addresses are included. Residents can learn more by inputting their addresses at att.com/notifyme.
