West Orange High star defensive back Ivan Taylor, a four-star prospect and one of the top-ranked recruits in Florida for the class of 2025, has flipped his college commitment from Michigan to Alabama, he announced on X.

“(I’m) happy to announce my commitment to the University of Alabama,” Taylor wrote in a post. “I'm blessed for the opportunity, and I look forward to playing for Coach (Kalen) DeBoer and his staff. Roll tide!”

Taylor, the son of two-time Super Bowl champion Ike Taylor, announced his original commitment to Notre Dame in December before flipping to the defending National Champions in the summer. Now, as the high school football season is close to coming to an end, he decided to stay a little closer to home and roll with the Crimson Tide.
