A new Indian street food concept is coming to Winter Garden.

Mirchi, a vegetarian and vegan restaurant, will replace El Rey De La Papa at 1021 S. Dillard St., Winter Garden.

The eatery was anticipating hosting a grand opening event Oct. 4, but owners say the opening has been delayed due to inspections.

The menu will include options such as an avocado toast sandwich, a veggie tikki burger, veggie fried rice and noodles, gun powder masala dosa, and podi uthappam.

Mirchi is owned by Chirag Patel and Kalyan Tota, the same names behind Cilantro Indian Cuisine, which opened in 2023 on Plant Street in Winter Garden.

For more information on Mirchi, visit the restaurant's website here or its Facebook page here
